We are a leading satellite communication services provider and teleport operator, based in the Netherlands. We provide VSAT Internet and mobile satellite services to companies active in the Mining, Maritime, and Energy industries, to NGOs and Governments. Our broadcasting customers benefit from live audio and video transmission services, downlink and transcoding services, and uplinking of TV bouquets. We serve our wholesale customers with teleport services, Virtual Network Operating (VNO) services, and Satellite Capacity leasing.
Castor Networks was once the satellite broadcasting division of the leading national telecom operator KPN. Following a management buy-out, Castor Networks was initiated in 2005. The company is now privately financed and based in De Meern, the Netherlands. We are owner-operator of two teleports and a leased fibre network from which we provide services to an international client base.
Our global mission is to become, and stay, a first choice partner for our customers. We will continue to provide them with our high quality services and professional support. Our strategy for our land business is to expand our local presence in key geographical markets.
